responsible play

keep it a game.

rhr is played for real money once it is live. This page is about keeping it a game: setting limits, taking breaks, knowing the signs of trouble and finding help. It is written plainly because the subject is serious.

Real money, real odds

  • Every game is a fair spin with a rake taken off. Over time the average player ends up behind by their share of the rake. No system, pattern or streak changes that.
  • Losing streaks happen in a fair game, and winning streaks end. Neither means the next game is due to go your way.
  • A dare adds risk and pays no cash.
  • Rakeback and perks reduce the cost of playing. They do not turn the game into an income.

Set your limits before you start

Decide, before you load up, how much you can afford to lose, how long you will play and when you will stop. Write the numbers down. Then:

  • Load up only that amount. Do not top up to chase a loss.
  • Cash out winnings on a schedule instead of letting a growing stash tempt you into bigger buy-ins.
  • Do not play when you are upset, tired or have been drinking.
  • Never borrow to play, and never play with money meant for rent, bills or food.

Know the signs

It may be time to stop and talk to someone if you:

  • play for longer, or with more money, than you planned
  • chase losses, or play to feel better after a bad day
  • hide your play or lie about it
  • feel anxious or irritable when you are not playing
  • borrow money to play, or fall behind on bills because of it
  • feel that you cannot stop

The tools in the app

Your profile page has three tools you can set on yourself.

  • Loss limits. A daily limit and a weekly limit on how much you are willing to lose. When you reach one, the server stands you up and will not seat you again until that period is over.
  • Cool-off. A break you choose, from 1 hour to 7 days. While it lasts, the server will not seat you.
  • Self-exclusion. A longer block of 7, 30, 90, 180 or 365 days, so a week to a year. The server refuses to seat your wallet until it ends.

Once you set a cool-off or a self-exclusion, it cannot be shortened. The server checks your limits when you sit down, when you use quick join, and between games.

What the tools do not do

  • They do not lock your money. You can always withdraw what is yours.
  • They cannot stop a deposit. A deposit is an on-chain transaction that anyone can make. The tools control whether the server will seat you.
  • They cover one wallet. The server cannot see your other wallets. If you set a limit on one wallet and play from another, the tools do nothing. For a stronger barrier, use blocking software on your devices and tell someone you trust.
  • They are not a substitute for help. If you need to stop, get support.

Age, place and the law

  • You must be 18 or older. The first visit asks you to confirm your age and that playing is allowed where you are.
  • Some places are blocked. If the site shows you a blocked page, do not try to get around it. The law where you live decides whether you may play, not your internet address.
  • Check your own law. Whether this kind of game is legal for you is your responsibility to find out. Winnings and token transactions can also have tax consequences where you live. See the terms.

Get help

Support is free and confidential.

  • In the US, call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, at any hour.
  • For gambling problems in the US, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537).

Real firearms are not a game

rhr is a cartoon. Hoods always stay on, there is no blood, and nobody is hurt. A real firearm is nothing like that. Playing roulette with a real gun kills people. Never do it, and never dare anyone to.

If you or someone you know is thinking about suicide or self-harm, please reach out today. In the US, call or text 988. Anywhere else, findahelpline.com will point you to a helpline in your country.
