02, getting started

Connecting a wallet

You connect an EVM wallet and sign in with one free signature, because there are no accounts, passwords or emails.

on this page

RHR has no signup page, no username and no password. Your wallet is your login: connect it and you are in. The keys are the account, so whoever controls them can spend your stash. Look after them.

Which wallets work

Wallets that introduce themselves to the browser through the EIP-6963 standard are supported. MetaMask and Rabby are two common examples, either as a browser extension or inside a wallet app's own browser. The connect screen lists whatever it finds.

It hides wallets that cannot add Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663), because they could not play anyway. If your wallet is missing from the list, that is usually why. A WalletConnect option may appear on some deployments.

In demo mode the app never touches a wallet at all.

The network

RHR runs on Robinhood Chain. Mainnet is chain ID 4663 and the testnet is 46630. Gas, the fee for any on-chain transaction, is paid in ETH on that chain, not in USDG. When you connect, the site asks your wallet to add or switch to the right network. Check the network name and chain ID in the wallet prompt before you approve.

While the contracts are being proven out the app may point at the testnet. Testnet tokens have no monetary value.

Signing in

After you connect, the site asks for one signature. It is a Sign-In with Ethereum message (EIP-4361): a short text containing the site's domain, a one-time challenge and a timestamp. Signing it proves you control the wallet.

  • It costs no gas.
  • It does not move funds and does not approve any transaction.
  • It starts a session, made of a cookie and a short-lived token for live tables. When the session ends you sign again.

Read the domain in the message before you sign. If it is not the site you are on, reject it.

Deposits and withdrawals are separate, explicit transactions that you approve one by one. Nothing leaves your wallet until you deposit.

What RHR will never ask for

RHR will never ask for your seed phrase or your private key. Not in a form, not in a chat, not in a support message. Anyone who asks is trying to steal from you. Do not type either into any website, and do not send them to anyone.

One wallet, one stash

Each address has its own stash, level, rakeback and achievements. If you switch accounts in your wallet, sign in again with the new account. Funds never move between addresses by themselves.

If something goes wrong

  • My wallet isn't listed. It may not support EIP-6963 or may not be able to add chain 4663. Try another wallet.
  • Wrong network. Switch to Robinhood Chain in your wallet, or accept the switch prompt.
  • I rejected the signature. Nothing happened. Press connect again.
  • The site asks me to confirm my age or shows a blocked page. The first visit asks you to confirm that you are 18+ and that playing is allowed where you are, and some regions are blocked. See Responsible play and safety.

Where next

Loading up puts USDG into your stash.
