XP and levels
Your level comes from lifetime volume wagered, it unlocks titles and level achievements only, and dares add XP without changing the formula.
on this page
Every game you play moves you along a level curve. The curve is a plain formula of your lifetime volume wagered, so there is no separate grind and nothing to farm.
The formula
level = floor((volume / 20) ^ (1 / 2.2))volume is the sum of the buy-ins of the games you have played, in USDG, win or lose. The exponent is 1 / 2.2, which is less than 1, so each new level costs more than the one before. The first levels arrive quickly. The later ones need real volume.
What each level costs
| Level | Lifetime volume needed (USDG) | Title |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | 0 | tourist |
| 1 | 20 | tourist |
| 5 | 690 | sweaty |
| 10 | 3,170 | regular |
| 15 | 7,735 | survivor |
| 20 | 14,565 | veteran |
| 25 | 23,796 | comrade |
| 30 | 35,539 | oligarch |
| 40 | 66,921 | legend |
| 50 | 109,337 | immortal |
The volumes are the smallest whole-USDG amounts that reach each level, rounded up. A title applies from its level until the next title begins, so you are a tourist until level 5.
What levels do, and what they do not
- They are cosmetic. A level changes nothing about how you are dealt in, your odds, the rake you pay or what you are paid.
- They gate a few things. Level achievements (Whale at level 30, Legend at level 40) and some avatar frames need a minimum level. See Achievements.
- They show. Your level appears next to your name at the table.
Dares and XP
Surviving a dare earns XP, along with jackpot tickets and achievement progress. The level formula above reads lifetime volume only, so dare XP never changes the level the formula gives you.
No dare ever pays cash. A dare costs real extra risk, so do not take one to climb a level. At the table has the numbers.
